The Proxi-Mate unit is at the heart of the system. It notifies you when those under your care have risen, using your choice of sensor.
If you are in the nursing home environment, Proxi-Mate notifies you through the existing nurse call system or a Proxi-Mate pager.
For those caring for loved ones at home, Proxi-Mate notifies you through a pager.
It is a fully flexible system that is adaptable to any situation. You select which sensor suits, ensuring the highest level of care.
Bed Sensors
The Proxi-Mate Bed Sensor is placed on top of the mattress, under the bedding, and is generally undetectable in use. There are no moving parts in the sensor, meaning it will outlast any other bed sensor.
Chair Sensors
The Proxi-Mate Chair Sensor is placed on the chair where the individual will be seated. Like the bed sensor, it has no moving parts and will outlast any competitor.
Infra-Red Sensor
The Proxi-Mate Infra-Red Sensor is a small, robust motion detector which can be used to monitor a specific area and respond quickly to any movement.
Wall mount bracket
The Proxi-Mate wall bracket is mounted on the wall near the bed or chair. The bracket allows for the system to be neatly attached to the wall keeping all cords tidy without becoming a trip hazard. The bracket can be easily removed without damaging the wall finish.
